Some People Are Stooopid

Just to make it clear - a digital comic doesn't have to be drawn digitally. A "digital" or "web" comic merely refers to how it's delivered to the end user. It can be a downloadable file (pdf or image file) or as something viewable within a browser page or application. So, to say a digital comic isn't a "true" digital comic unless it's done soup-to-nuts using a computer is utterly idiotic (not that it can't be done that way however).

I still do pencils and inks traditionally (pencil, brush and ink on art board). Lettering and production are done using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign (sometimes Quark). If I was going to print, I would then create a press-ready pdf with Acrobat, but for digital, the final pdfs are produced using a PHP script.

Other news: IDW will be reprinting all of the Law Dog series, which will also have the Captain Danger stories I did for Chuck Dixon. About 12 pages of RSA #3 are done - almost halfway there.
