Brew Day

Saturday is brew day. Here's the recipe (for 5 gallons):

- 7-lb. Pale 2-row
- 1.5-lb. flaked corn
- 8-oz. Victory
- 8-oz. Crystal 20L
- 8-oz. rolled oats

All grains added to the mash. Northern Brewer hops throughout (bittering, flavoring and finishing - about 23 IBU). Pacman Ale yeast (1st generation). SRM about 5.7.

This is kind of a goofy recipe. I added the oats to see what would happen (and to clean out my cupboards). The hops I had in my freezer and was getting old (should still be good). Weather is supposed to be in the low 80's. First all-grain of the year!
